Grand Prince of Vikesland makes State Visit to North Dakota

On september 8th the Grand Prince of Vikesland and the Princess travelled to the U.S.A. for an official tour of the city of Minot in the State of North Dakota. They spent the weekend touring the city, shopping and taking in the Scandinavian heritage park. While in the park the Prince gave a speech on how the pioneering spirit of the Scandinavian settlers of North Dakota are similair to the people of Vikesland, in that they are exploring new territory and starting a new life in a new nation. The very name "Vikesland" was created as an honor to the exploritory Vikings and their fearless pursuit of the unknown world.

The Grand Prince has stated "I will soon have a write up and pictures to post on the [vikeslandic.com] website, hopefully by tonight."
